Election Results!
Dear Cal Fencing,
I am excited to announce the results of the election! All newly elected officers are invited to attend the officer meeting at 10pm tonight (Wednesday, 4/23) on the third floor of the RSF (accessible by stairs to your right after you pass the customer service windows near the entrance). Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's election.

Deadline for Davis and Officer Elections

Dear Cal Fencing,

[DAVIS TOURNAMENT DEADLINE]
Our next and last tournament of the semester will be at UC Davis with individual events on Saturday, April 26 and team events on Sunday, April 27. Please fill out the form by Monday 4/14 so that we can arrange rides and accommodations. Here is the link to the askfred.

[OFFICER NOMINATIONS/ELECTIONS]
Nominations for 2014-2015 officer positions will be accepted at practice on Thursday 4/17. Elections will be held at practice on Monday 4/21. All current Cal Fencing Club members are eligible and encouraged to vote. Only in-person voting is valid so please make sure to be in attendance on voting day to make sure that your voice is heard. Please consider serving the club in a leadership capacity. Further details of the officer positions and the election process will be released through email and on the website shortly.

[PRIVATE LESSONS]
Coach Abdul Habek offers private lessons to our club members. Though his gym East Bay Fencers Gym is located in Oakland, he offers private lessons to our members at the RSF. If you are interested in training individually with Coach Abdul, please speak to him at practice about the fees and arranging a time.

[PRACTICE TIMES]
Monday 8:30PM: Beginners/Advanced
Wednesday 10:30PM: Advanced
Thursday 9:30PM: Beginners/Advanced

Results of Berkeley Tournament

Congratulations to all on a successful home tournament! Thank you to the refs and everyone who worked extra hard to help our tournament run smoothly. We really appreciate you! Everyone fenced well and represented UC Berkeley in the best way. Celebrate your accomplishment! Berkeley tournament: 2/22. Preregister now!

Dear Cal Fencing,
[BERKELEY TOURNAMENT]
Our first tournament of the semester will be held here at Berkeley on Saturday (2/22) in the Hearst Gym. Please come represent the club at our one home tournament of the year! Preregister now to save money!

[FIRST SOCIAL]
The first fencing social of the semester will be an ice cream social 7-8:30PM on Friday (2/21) in the Haas Club Room in Haas Pavilion. Please help us set up for the tournament afterwards! Join us for some dessert and fun!

[DUES] If you have not paid dues yet, please follow the instructions for paying dues here! Any questions about dues should be directed to our treasurer Melissa Pangilinan.

Free trial ends Thursday 2/6/
Dear Cal Fencing,
[FREE TRIAL ENDS] This is a reminder that our free trial ends this Thursday (2/6). Starting next week, we will require proof of payment of dues at practice. Please follow the instructions for paying dues here! Any questions about dues should be directed to our treasurer Melissa Pangilinan.
